FACEMED delivers craft, precision, and personalised care through each step, from wax-ups to final shine ensuring your smile is both beautiful and lasting.
Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin ceramic shells placed on teeth surfaces to enhance appearance. Ideal for discolouration, chips, rotation, or spacing. Each step we take is designed for confidence, comfort, and enduring beauty.
At your first appointment, you will have a dental assessment, including radiographs, to check your oral hygiene. The dentist will determine if veneer treatment is suitable for you and outline any necessary pre-treatment procedures.
This can be done on the same day as the assessment if you’re ready. Impressions of your teeth create a wax model to show your new smile. You’ll then be invited back to discuss any changes or adjustments with the dentist.
At this stage, the Dentist will remove a small amount of enamel from the front of the teeth in order to create adequate space for the veneers to be applied.
At the final fit appointment, your veneers are cemented and polished to an artistic shine. This can take 90 minutes to 3 hours.
Dr. Alex Hadley and all the staff at FACEMED were so friendly and reassuring yet still professional. I had a full makeover of 18 porcelain veneers which has totally changed my smile and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The FACEMED Clinic is a real state of the art medical/dental centre who use the very latest technology which helps so much when you are having any type of procedure. My fear of the dentist has vanished! Thank you.

Very professional service at all times, Monica and her team could not be more helpful, giving expert advice and a friendly ear.. Would recommend Facemed wholeheartedly to anyone wanting to improve their appearance in a safe and clinical but attractive environment . Thank you to all.
Staff are always fantastic, helpful and happy which makes it a more pleasurable experience (as going to the dentist isnt something most people look forward to). Dr George always sympathetic and interested in problems not just about dentistry but overall wellbeing.
Honestly I wouldn’t go anywhere else. From the moment you walk you are greeted with a friendly smile, it honestly feels like you’re one of the family. Monica is the best at her profession and I recently had dentistry work and George is so gentle and calming

With proper care, porcelain veneers can last between 10 and 15 years. However, their longevity depends on maintaining good oral hygiene and avoiding habits that can damage them.
Porcelain veneers are more resistant to staining than natural teeth, but they can still stain if exposed to coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco. Maintaining good oral hygiene helps minimise staining.
The veneer treatment process is generally not painful, as local anesthesia is used during the preparation and fitting stages. Some patients may experience sensitivity after the procedure, which can be managed with anti-sensitivity toothpaste.
If a veneer becomes damaged or stained, it will need to be replaced. Promptly addressing any damage ensures the longevity of your veneers and the overall appearance of your smile.
The longevity of veneers depends on proper care. Veneers are susceptible to staining like natural teeth, so impeccable oral hygiene is crucial. If you clench or grind your teeth at night, a night guard will be recommended. Sensitivity may occur, and an anti-sensitivity toothpaste can help. Regular brushing, flossing, and visits to the hygienist are essential to maintain your beautiful new smile.
